Would like to say hello to all my former classmates at School Without Walls. As well as the former teachers. I talk about SWW all the time. I still feel it is the best school around. I joined a group that was fighting the TEST. They informed me that SWW was fighting to keep it out of the system. I hope they did. Well Best of wishes to everyone.

I was just checking in on SWW and saw the news of a reunion. Boy, I wish I could make it. High School in downtown Rochester seems not that long ago -21 friggin years?! I still remember going to the first day of school and meeting my extended class teacher Jeffrey Mahr "Computers and Society". School was an incredible time and over the past years I have been able to reconnect with a few friends, speaking with Lenny Petix, Patrick Michelson, Biddy Russell. I would still like to touch base with: Bill Manyard, Frank S, Ralph Wadell, Flynn Pritchard, Gina S, Jennifer Kennedy, and a whole host of others. My email is gkatz @ TCONL dot com

Hearing rumors? They're all true!

Details are being firmed up, but the reunion is a definite thing. The flyer is posted on the home page of the Alumni site, here: http://www.schoolwithoutwalls.org/alumni/. If you're reading this and you haven't registered for the site yet, please go here and fill out the form to give SWW your current contact info! As I get more information from up Rochester way, I'll post it on the site! And if you're in the Maryland area, look me up! Hope to see a lot of you in Rochester on October 7th, 2006!!!

Hello All! I'm trying to arrange the time off to come to Rochester for the reunion, and will be bringing with me information about the beautiful park in Lowell, MA, dedicated to Jollene Dubner. (If you don't want to wait, just google her name and you'll find news and pix) I'm hoping lots of people from our years will be there and look forward to seeing everyone!

Congrats to Scott Camp on your marriage, your wife is very pretty :) Congrats on the new baby on the way, too. We also had a baby due Oct 17 this year but sadly miscarried in April :( On a happier note, I have been married since Augest 1997 and have five children; four boys and one girl. My husband is a teacher (has even done some work with Judy Fonzie, for those of you who might remember her) and we live in Greece on the border with Spencerport. Best wishes to ALL from '89-'92. :)

Like most people I stumbled on this site...while at work. I read some of the alumni postings and smiled when I saw people from my era (1991-1995) and wanted to get caught up with everyone. Thanks to Chris P (1993) who is like the information hub for most of us, I still get the vitals on everyone. Glad to hear that many people are happily married and proud parents and have made great strides post SWW. I'm still in North Carolina, receiving my Master's in Dec 2006. I work in IT for Wachovia, happily un-married and a proud non-parent. I would love to hear from all my 90's SWW folk...Anybody heard from Henry R or Tyrone H? Whats up Tonica, Rudy, Chris...All my folks from c/o '93! Class of '95 I know you're out there doing it big. Class of 1996, stop playing and register on this site...Get on board. Ya'll remember when Rick started out small with snack cakes, candy bars and cups-o-noodles out the desk drawer and then it became a full blown concession stand!

? LOL! Everybody be good! Lets get back to planning the reunion (Chris).

1985 what a year, can't believe it is that long ago. I have been in the ARMY ever since graduation. Heading to Fort Bragg NC this summer.

This question is for anyone who graduated the early 80's. Does anyone know Bruce Hale's middle name? someone had told me that he passed away december 2005.

[There's a Bruce Carlton Hale listed as deceased, December 8, 2005, in the Democrat and Chronicle online. Can anyone confirm if this is him? If so, I'll add his brief obituary to the site... -Betsy]

Hello - Good to see news from friends old and new! I'm alive, well, and living in NH. I married a few years ago and have two girls (ages 2 & 4). After SWW, I went onto Antioch and eventually taught special needs and second grade. Hard to believe, but I couldn't find a job after a few years and ended up working as a meeting planner and executive secretary for a few years. In an ironic twist of humor, I eventually became a trainer and spend most of my time writing ...ALL those writing assignments from Ernest really did amount to a career. Many happy memories of SWW and hope you are all well.

Wow I was just surfing the web and decided to check out this site. Well I am currently at Fort Bragg in North Carolina and back in school getting my degree in information systems security. Will be done in about another year and after that I plan on moving out west.

Hi. Life has been pretty fun and quite full since SWW. I have worked at Rochester General Hospital for 26 years. I'm the senior Biomedical Engineering/Imaging Technician and have had a hand in installing nearly all the patient monitoring in the hospital among other things. I have a wonderful family. My wife, Sue and four kids... two canine and two human (sort of). Drew is 13 and Alec is 10. We love living in Irondequoit and the kids are doing great in school. It's a great town for Alec the jock (Basketball, soccer and lacrosse). I hope all the folks I spent time with are doing well.

I first want to thank everyone who attended Phil McIntyre's funeral, and SWW for hosting the memorial service. It'd be great to see everyone under less depressing circumstances.

Let's see... I got married last fall, my wife and I own our home in Irondequoit, and we're having a baby! My wife is due mid-October.

Wedding photos are available at www.scottcamp.com (which will be re-designed sooner or later). I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi everyone! It has been a long time since I have spoken to most of you (almost 6 years)! The good news is that fantastic things have been happening in my life and I wanted to share them with you! The biggest news: I was married two years ago and now have a vibrant bouncing 1 year old named Adiyah. The nicest news: I will be graduating from SUNY College at Buffalo with a B.S. in Health and Wellness and a minor in African and African American Studies. This summer, I will start a program at the University of Buffalo for a B.S.N./M.S.N. in Nursing. When I finish in 2009, I will be a Nurse Practitioner. I just wanted to write to let all of those at SWW who have supported, helped and guided me..."Thank You." I love SWW, all of the things that we stand for and all of the things that we have fought for. Throughout these past 6 years, studying abroad, heading many campus student organizations and making lifelong friends, I have come to truly know that "learning has no limits!" My best wishes for all.~~~Ruqayyah R.C.

I see Beth DeRoller was asking about Murray. I assume she means Murray Barg. I can tell you he is living in Boston where he is a piano teacher. And his sister Frances is living in California with her husband and son.

I am living in Rochester with my husband and 7 year old son. We just celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary which doesn't seem possible. I work as a Network Administrator for the County of Monroe. I knit, spinn and weave in my spare time.

One of our classmates, Paul Gasoi, (1981) is involved in a show of Visionary Artists, which launches early this year. If anyone know of a venue to host this event, please see the contact information in the link below: http://www.internalguidancesystems.com/
